InfraGard

Formed in 1996 within the Chicago FBI Field Office, InfraGard is a Public / Private Partnership between the FBI and the private sector, more specifically the sixteen DHS aligned Critical Sectors (http://www.dhs.gov/) . Put simply, InfraGard is an association of persons who represent businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the U.S.

InfraGard Louisiana

Founded in April 2005, InfraGard Louisiana is an FBI-affiliated nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose primary mission and purpose is to support a bilateral information sharing partnership between the private and public sectors for the purpose of protecting the nation’s critical infrastructures against attacks or failure caused by either foreign or domestic threats, and to support all FBI investigative programs, especially Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, and Cyber Crime.

Nationally recognized, InfraGard Louisiana represents the entire State of Louisiana through four subchapters (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Acadiana, and North Louisiana).

InfraGard sponsorships are valid for one year and renewable on an annual basis. Sponsorships and sponsoring corporations must be compatible and consistent with the mission and focus of InfraGard. Sponsors are responsible for providing the deliverables associated with their benefits in a timely manner. InfraGard reserves the right to exercise policy control over marketing and communications and is not obligated to support products, services or activities of sponsoring corporations that are deemed to not to be in the best interest of our members. The InfraGard name and service mark and logo are governed by strict licensing agreements and may not be used by sponsors as a representation, endorsement or other affiliation unless pre-approved by the InfraGard board of directors. InfraGard reserves the right to adjust sponsorship benefits as necessary.
